Anna’s brother struggled with substance use and mental health. But instead of getting the care he needed, the police killed him. Anna knows first-hand that our community deserves resources and support for better public health, including mental health and substance use.

Unlike many politicians, Anna has lived experience with the issues that hurt our community most. She is an immigrant daughter whose father, a frontline worker, passed away from COVID and whose brother suffered police violence. Anna is ready to disrupt the status quo and bring our community’s voice to our government.
